Hi Jo?o,
I see that you are also listing the IGFs - the Caribbean Telecommunications
Union (CTU) has been organising a Caribbean IGF (CIGF) for the last ten
years - the first was held on 5th and 6th September 2005 in Georgetown
Guyana, so in fact predates the first global IGF in Athens. The CTU has
also run a successful series of ICT Roadshows moving from country to
country round the region. The 2010 CIGF in St Maarten saw the birth of
CaribNog - the Caribbean Network Operators Group, which has itself held
several meetings since then.
I have copied this message to Ms Bernadette Lewis who is the
Secretary-General of the CTU and the person best able to give you further
information should you need it.
I see that other people have already reminded you about Diplo :-)
Good luck with your project. If I can give you any more help please let me
know.
Best wishes
Deirdre

Thanks Olga and Deirdre,

Some questions I've received in other mailing groups let me fix the question. The core objective of my article will be to provide for the newbie all information they need to join the debate, by learning at IG Schools and/or in person trough any fellowship / scholarship program.

The initiative to write this article is to break the borders for IG actors, since the majority that use this fellow/scholarship just are already involved on IG.

All the time based on my "Bottom Dillema" http://www.circleid.com/posts/20141030_the_bottom_dilemma/ since this I was focused on increase the bottom of debate. Now I'm working in 3 projects related to it: Net Neutrality for all, Governance for all and Youth LAC.
